Latest NewsVillage Hall Improvement Projects
Stage 2 of our improvements is all ready to go – we just have to raise the money! We plan to remove the false ceiling, install roof insulation and new lighting, and restore the original appearance of the hall, including the large west window. This will make the hall warmer, lighter and more comfortable, and help us to keep our energy costs down. We have all the plans and permissions, and are working on fundraising. You can help – fill out our questionnaire, buy Prize Draw tickets, or simply make a donation. For more information, come to a Village Hall event, or email us at the address below. More Plans We are also making plans for further improvements, including a new kitchen and new toilets. These are still at an early stage, but if you would like to be involved in their development, please get in touch. Volunteers Needed The Village Hall management team is very small – we urgently need more people to help us maintain the hall and garden, and take our plans forward. The tasks involved range from occasional help at events to full membership of the management committee. Talk to a member of the team at a Village Hall tea, or email us for further information (address below). |
